Navigating the member profiles of others is very straight forward, but this documant provides a detailed overview of the various features. Many of the functions discussed below are the same as when you are Navigating and Using Your Member Profile, only the information displayed is about other members rather than about you.

Selectable items appear in bold type and menu names and variable text are italicized.

After your registration is complete and you have logged in to Open2it, you will find the User Menu in the left side bar, just below the Main Menu. In the User Menu, select Open2it Members, which links to a complete list of registered members. This list displays the member's avatar, username, online status indicator ( online or offline) and basic merbership history statistics.

Incidentally, you can also access a member's profile by mousing over or clicking the username in the Who's Online area below the search box on every Open2it page. The username flyout gives you two options: send message or visit user profile. These are alternative avenues for getting to functions discussed below.

By clicking on the avatar image or the username in the list of members you will be directed to a screen similar to the one illustrated below.

The top row of four buttons allows for several several useful functions.
  • The Messages menu gives you the option: Send Private Message. Any member can send a private message to any other member, but you can choose to accept or reject a message, as well as blocking future messages any member (see Messaging and Your Privacy).
